Richard Von Alvensleben presently serves as the President of LKT, Inc., d.b.a One Up Construction. The Rocklin, California-based company invests in real estate, particularly distressed properties. Richard Von Alvensleben draws on his extensive background in business development to contribute to the growth of the company; he has achieved major milestones, including developing a $6 million rental fund and overseeing a $49 million real estate fund.
Richard Von Alvensleben holds an Associate degree in Marine Technology from Santa Barbara City College. Upon completing his education, Von Alvensleben worked for the United States Antarctic Research Program as a commercial diver; in this capacity, he installed desalination equipment designed to convert saltwater into a suitable supply of drinking water for thousands of people in Antarctica. Richard Von Alvensleben later founded Associated Drilling, a company that drilled for foundations. He oversaw the staff and managed the bidding and maintenance of the company's projects. He expanded his entrepreneurial endeavors when he founded World Concepts LLC, serving as Sales Manager and assisting the company with its significant revenue growth. Von Alvensleben proved instrumental in the company's 2005 sales, which topped $200 million and landed World Concepts a place on Inc. magazine's list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the United States.
A resident of California, Richard Von Alvensleben enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking, fishing, biking, camping, and snowmobiling in his spare time. He enjoys spending time with his family in northern California and supports local youth with contributions to their athletic teams.
